THE CROSSING · OCTOBER 15TH TO MARCH 20TH

It’s August.

Eight months of this year have already gone somewhere.

Some of what you imagined in January has quietly happened. Some of it is still sitting exactly where you left it, waiting for a version of you with more time or more nerve. And some of it you actually did, which is why you are standing inside it now, finding out what it asks of you.

Underneath all of it there is usually one thread.

I know. And some part of me does not feel safe enough to live what I know.

The Crossing runs from October 15th to March 20th, which means the decision you have been carrying, or the one you already made, gets the one thing it has never been given.

Enough time to become a life.

Applications are read personally by Saskia.

LOCATE YOURSELF

Where are you in your crossing?

You act on what is true. You stay with it when staying gets hard. And you stay long enough that the choice you made has time to reshape your work, your relationships, and the ordinary texture of your days.

I meet you where you arrive.

Open the one that sounds like your life, today.

You already know. That is the strange part.

You could say it out loud right now, in one sentence, without working up to it. The conversation you keep rehearsing and postponing. The role you have outgrown by about two years. The relationship that needs to change shape or end. The business you keep almost starting. The move. The boundary. The thing you want to ask for and have never asked for.

You have looked at it from every angle. You have talked it through with the people who love you, journaled it, slept on it, waited to see whether it would pass.

It has not passed.

So the question is no longer what. You know what. The question is what happens inside you at the precise moment it is time to act.

Something protective steps forward and does its job extremely well. It thinks about the consequences. It thinks about who will be hurt or disappointed. It wants a plan with no exposed edges. It offers you control, and control feels like safety, and you take it, and another season goes by.

You do not need another six months of analysis.

Your work here · Act
The decision gets made. The conversation actually happens. The move begins, in real life, with a date on it.

If you enter here, this is what the five months are built to make possible.

By December
You have done the thing you have been circling since spring. You did it before it felt comfortable, with a room behind you and support underneath you, and the version of you that used to talk you out of it has been met and listened to rather than overruled.
Entering the new year
You cross into January having already moved. The thing that used to live on next year's list is behind you, and what is in front of you now is the work of living inside the choice.
By spring
The decision has had time to do something. What began as one brave conversation has changed the terms of a relationship. What began as one resignation has become work that is actually yours. The choice has stopped being an event you survived and started being a life you are building.

You did it, or you have started doing it, which in some ways asks more of you, because now it is happening in real time and in front of people.

The decision has consequences now. There is a bank balance, a calendar, a conversation you cannot un-have. People have opinions, and some of them are people whose opinions you have quietly organized your life around.

The old fears got louder rather than quieter, which is not what anyone tells you.

And the new identity is not fully yours yet. You are living inside a life that is more true than the one before it, wearing it like something that has not been broken in.

Some days you know exactly why you chose this.

Other days you wake at four in the morning and think, what the hell have I done.

Both of those days belong to this. Neither one is the verdict.

Your work here · Stay
You follow through when the consequences arrive. The thing you started does not quietly get returned in November.

If you enter here, this is what the five months are built to make possible.

By December
The hardest stretch has been walked with people rather than white-knuckled alone. The doubt still visits and it no longer runs the decision. You have stopped relitigating a choice you already made, which gives you back an enormous amount of energy for actually building the thing.
Entering the new year
You begin to lead from what you chose. You are noticing where you are still behaving like the woman who had not chosen it yet, and you are closing that gap on purpose.
By spring
The move has become a life. The business has customers and a rhythm. The boundary has changed how a relationship actually functions rather than sitting there as one brave sentence you said once. You are no longer someone who made a change. You are someone whose life has a different shape.

The relationship ended. The business started. You left the job. You moved. You said the thing you had been swallowing for years, and your voice shook, and you said it anyway.

Then you discovered something nobody mentions.

Making the brave decision did not reorganize every protective part of you. It handed you a new life and left you standing in the middle of it as the same woman, with the same instincts, being asked for something you have never practiced.

You have been staying with it ever since. Some days well, some days barely. And the staying has done what staying does. Things have rearranged themselves around the choice, quietly, without asking you first.

Which is why something else is happening now, and it is easy to miss while you are busy holding everything together. The original decision is showing you things you could not have seen from the other side of it. New truths. New possibilities. A life that is asking more of you than you planned to give it.

The question is no longer whether you can hold what you chose. It is what you are willing to let it become.

Your work here · Expand
The choice gets long enough to reshape your identity, your relationships, your work, and your actual daily life.

If you enter here, this is what the five months are built to make possible.

By December
You have stopped bracing. You have claimed the thing you already did, out loud and in full. And the parts of you that were sure it was a mistake have been met, listened to, and brought with you.
Entering the new year
You are living the choice rather than defending it. You are practicing what it asks of you daily, and you are noticing which of your habits still belong to the woman you were before you made it.
By spring
The original truth has revealed the next one. There is something you want now that you could not have wanted in August, because you had not yet lived far enough into this to see it. Your capacity for expression, intimacy, creativity, leadership, visibility, rest, or receiving has grown, and you have the evidence in your calendar rather than only in your journal.

"I've already made a big change and I'm learning how to trust myself in what's next."

More than half of the women who registered for An Evening at the Threshold described themselves as here.

Different Thresholds.

Same Deep Work.

One woman is leaving a job. One is moving countries. One is rebuilding a marriage. One is starting the business she has described to her friends for four years.

From the outside these are unrelated lives.

From the inside they are the same experience, and the women in this room recognize themselves in each other's crossings within about ten minutes of meeting.

Because underneath every one of them is the same question.

How do I build enough relationship with myself to actually live what I know?

This is where "I know" becomes "I've lived it."

THE TURN

The decision is where The Crossing starts.

Almost everything written for women at a threshold ends at the moment of the brave decision. She finally says it. She finally leaves. Music, credits.

I have sat with women on the other side of that moment, and I can tell you what actually happens next.

Your nervous system was at the meeting where you decided. So were your identity, your habits, your relationships, and the parts of you that have kept you safe for more than thirty years by keeping you the same.

You suppressed them. You managed them. You put distance between yourself and what you felt, and you moved anyway, because that is what it took to move at all.

Then the decision was made, and the room went quiet.

Which is when you can finally hear them. The fear is louder now than it was before you moved. The part of you that did not want to let go is grieving, and it has your full attention for the first time, usually at an inconvenient hour.

Every truth invites a rearrangement.

The rearrangement is not the sign that you chose wrong. It is the sign that the choice was real enough to require something of your life.

And this is the stretch women navigate alone. It is also the stretch where most of them quietly go back.

Staying is sacred.

Staying with yourself when the fear shows up.

Staying with the truth when the person in front of you does not understand it.

Staying while your identity catches up to a decision your body already made.

Staying when protection reads uncertainty as danger.

THE PART NOBODY SELLS YOU

What staying actually buys you.

Here is the part I want to be very concrete about, because it is the reason five months exists rather than a weekend.

A decision made and then abandoned the first time it gets uncomfortable is an expensive story you tell later about a year you almost had.

A decision made and then stayed with becomes something else entirely.

You launch the business. Then you stay, and it gets traction.

You leave the job. Then you stay, and the work you left it for comes into actual existence.

You set the boundary. Then you stay, and it becomes the new shape of the relationship rather than one uncomfortable evening everyone recovers from.

You move. Then you stay, and it becomes a life, with a community in it, and a favorite place to walk.

You let yourself be seen once. Then you stay, and it becomes a body of work people can find.

You end something. Then you stay through the empty stretch, and there is finally enough room for the next thing to arrive.

The decision is the seed.

Staying is what gives it enough time to become a life.

Stay with what you chose long enough to see what becomes possible because you did.

THE INTEGRATION MAP

What helps you stay.

The quality of your life is shaped by the quality of your relationship with yourself.

Not the relationship you have with yourself on a good morning, when you have slept and the work is going well and you feel like the woman in your own aspirations.

The relationship you have with yourself when something inside you is frightened. Protective. Grieving. Ashamed. Resistant. Absolutely certain you have made a terrible mistake.

That is the relationship that determines whether you stay.

None of those parts of you need to be eliminated before you are allowed to move. They need something they have almost never been given, which is a woman who does not leave when they get loud.

The Integration Map

my signature framework for navigating life’s biggest thresholds

The map is meant to be lived
Four phases.

Touch a phase to see what it makes possible. Where we begin depends on where you actually are when you walk in.

The four phases are the work we do together. Know, act, stay and expand are what happens in you while we do it.

You become someone your own frightened parts learn to trust.

You have probably already done a great deal of work.

Therapy. Coaching. Books. Retreats. Breathwork. Years of paying attention. Most women who come to me can name the pattern, trace it to where it started, and explain it to me clearly.

None of that was wasted, and I am not going to ask you to reframe it as a detour. You know yourself. That knowledge is the raw material we work with.

And understanding yourself and having a relationship with yourself turn out to be two different experiences. One woman put it to me this way.

"Something in my intellect knows I am [enough], but my nervous system often can't feel it enough to follow through. I want to feel it. How do I build that self trust?"

You have learned a great deal about yourself. What happens when your life asks you to live it?

Therapy stayed in his head. This did not.

"Working with my therapist, I learned to identify and avoid the boulders and pits of my internal life. Yet in many cases, I wasn't living that differently. I was just thinking differently. Therapy had not moved out of my head and into my body and soul. So I explored various options. I tried embodiment therapy and some other approaches, but none of it was quite it — until I found Saskia’s work.

-F.J.

Her therapist noticed.

"My therapist told me this work got me further in months than we would have in a year."

-A.N.

From temporary relief to lasting change.

“Over the last 15 or so years, I have worked with a variety of different coaches, therapists and teachers in a huge range of modalities. What I found over and over was a temporary sense of accomplishment. But my actual life and how I acted and reacted never changed. Working with Saskia was different, and has measurably and truly changed my life because she taught me how embody my whole, complete self.

-M.K.

EVIDENCE

What Becomes Possible

The shape of your expansion is yours, and in all these years I have never once been able to predict it in advance.

What I can tell you is what changes in how a woman operates.

Negotiated her way out of execution work.

She told her employer she would not do execution work until they hired someone. They agreed to hire someone. She now has fewer meetings, the same pay, and is aligning with a vision where she gets paid to think.

A.W.

The standard her therapist had never seen.

She named what a relationship has to give her before she will be in one. Then used it to let go when the past came calling. Her therapist told her it was a boundary she had never once managed to set in all their years of work.

K.M.

Her first date in four years.

And she went without the anxious chasing that had run every relationship of her adult life.

A.G.

She walked into her boss's boss's office and asked for four weeks at a company that does not offer sabbaticals. Then she took three weeks of it, and extended it mid-trip, because she listened to herself.

And here is what that has actually looked like.

"I genuinely, wholeheartedly, strongly stand in the sovereignty of: I have nothing to prove to anybody. And I think that really solidified in The Crossing for me."

-Krystal

THE ARC

October to March

Five months is not a long time in a life. It is a great deal of time inside a decision.

Here is the shape of it.

OCTOBER 15TH

Meet what is here.

We open together, and you locate yourself honestly, including the part of you that has quietly been making the decisions.

NOVEMBER TO DECEMBER

Build the relationship that changes everything.

Managing softens into mothering, and protection meets a kind of leadership from you it has never felt before.

Something has moved.

JANUARY TO MID FEBRUARY

Lead from what you chose.

You cross into the new year already carrying evidence, and your identity begins to reorganize around the choice.

MID FEBRUARY TO MID MARCH

Expand with the support of the room around you.

Nothing new is introduced. You live what you have built, in your own days, with the room still there.

MARCH 20TH

Celebrate the life you built because you stayed.

We close on the equinox, and you look back at October from a life with a different shape.

Your inner and outer life more congruent than they have been in years. And the original truth, having had five months of time and company and practice around it, showing you the next one.

PROOF OVER TIME

Two Years Later

The Crossing ends in March.

What I cannot fit inside a five month timeline is what the work keeps doing afterward, so I want to show you one piece of it.

This is my client Loujuana, at three points in her own life.

Fourteen weeks of summer with her boys. A book she will finish. An entirely chosen life.

That summer is what the decision became.

She left the job. Then she stayed with what she chose, through every part of her that had good reason to panic about it, for long enough that it stopped being a decision she made and became the way she lives.

There is nothing in that message about me. Two years on, she leads the relationship with herself. That’s the point.

The project manager is still in there. She has simply stopped letting her take the lead.

WHEN SHE FIRST CAME TO ME

"I was doing all the things. I meditated, I did yoga, I read the Bible, I journaled, I prayed, I did therapy biweekly for five years. And yet, I still didn't like how I felt. I was tired of coping every day."

THEN SHE MADE A DECISION. QUIT HER JOB. CHOSE HER WELLBEING.AND HER BOYS.

"When I saw my old work van and coworkers the other day and realized I was free, I felt joy. I felt the weight of my ancestors and my six-year-old self watching me say, 'Look at me. I'm still here. I'm not broken. I may have broken pieces, but I'm able to hold them together.'"

A FEW DAYS AGO SHE SENT ME THIS. LIVING INSIDE HER NEW WORLD.

“I have spent almost 14 weeks of Summer break with my boys. It is amazing to be in the place that I am in. I showed up for myself, and when I felt a concern, I listened and supported. I finally lived instead of letting the project manager in me always take the lead. I didn't abandon myself this year and that has been the greatest gift.

I am looking forward to locking in and getting this book done.

THE FIELD

You do not cross alone.

There is a reason this is a room rather than a course.

Some part of you has been managing this by yourself for a very long time. That part has become genuinely excellent at it, and it has also never once had the experience it actually needs.

Some part of you only softens when it is finally witnessed, in real time, by someone who stays.

That is the one thing a recording cannot give you. You can consume every insight ever produced about thresholds and still be alone with yourself in the moment that matters, which is the exact pattern we are here to change.

So the room does specific work. It witnesses you, which is where safety actually comes from. It normalizes the rearrangement, so you stop reading a hard week as evidence you chose wrong. It holds you accountable to what you said you were going to do, kindly, and by name. It gives you evidence in the form of other women, who are two months ahead of you or two months behind you, doing this in a completely different life.

And it gives you belonging during the stretch when your identity is between things, which is precisely when most women have the least of it.

"I feel more deeply known and connected with these women than I do in some of my own friendships. Them seeing who I truly am, that is something very, very rare and very powerful."

-Tamara

FACILITATION

What it’s like to be in the room with me.

I do not deliver information at you for five months.

I read the room. I locate the woman actually in front of me, which is often not the woman described in the question she asked. I listen underneath the presenting problem, because the presenting problem is rarely the thing that needs meeting.

I work live and responsively. Sessions are guided in real time, which means the work is done on your actual life, on the actual Tuesday it is happening.

Before we gather, I read every single registration form and refine around the women who are coming.

The map gives me the architecture. Nine hundred hours of facilitation, and the woman in front of me still determines where we begin.

“There's a quiet power in the way she holds space. No pushing, no fixing, just a deep and loving invitation to return to yourself. Working with her feels like being met on a soul level.”

-Nora

HOW I’VE LIVED THE WORK

A little over a year ago I lived in Austin. I worked full time for someone else. I did not know whether my business could hold me. And my marriage was in a dramatically different place than it is now.

Since then I left my career. I went full time in my work. I moved to Mexico. I built a daily life that looks almost nothing like the one I had.

And I went through a threshold in my marriage that I would not have survived intact if I had been trying to manage it rather than stay with myself inside it. We chose to rebuild it into something different from what it was.

I am telling you this because it is the clearest evidence I have of how this work actually operates over time.

One truth led to a decision. The decision created another threshold. I stayed. Another truth became visible, one I could not have seen from where I was standing before. I followed that one too.

Eventually I looked around and understood that I could not have planned this life from inside the identity I was living in before the first decision.

WHO IT’S FOR

What this asks of you

I would rather you read this section carefully than enthusiastically.

You do not need:

Certainty. The absence of fear. A complete plan. A fully regulated nervous system. Every part of you in agreement about this.

If those were the entry requirements, no one would ever cross anything.

I bring the framework, the tools, the facilitation, the practice, the sisterhood, the accountability, the witnessing, and the relationship.

You bring participation.

That is the whole arrangement, and it is not a small ask.

You do need:

Willingness. Participation. An appetite for your own life. A readiness to practice what you already understand. A willingness to act on what is true before it feels comfortable. And a willingness to stay in relationship with yourself when the protective parts arrive, because they will, and their arrival is not a malfunction.

THE INVITATION

The Crossing

Five months of live guided work. October 15th to March 20th.

Sixty guided audio practices, professionally produced and sequenced to the Integration Map. Once you know which phase you are in, there are practices built for it. They build the skill, move the feeling, and take you to the wisdom already inside the moment you are standing in. This is not a folder of meditations. It is the methodology, in your ears, on the days between the calls.

Twelve live calls. Ninety minutes each, Thursdays at 5pm Central, guided in real time on your actual life.

A private Telegram space for the days between calls. Bring what comes up. I answer Monday to Friday, between 11am and 6pm Central. It has hours on purpose. This is a room that practices what it teaches.

Mid February to mid March is used as integration. No new material is introduced. Two live coaching calls and continued Telegram support while you practice everything you have built inside your own days.

A closing ceremony on Saturday, March 20th, on the equinox.

Two alumni calls across the spring and summer, a few months apart, alongside women from previous cohorts. Just when you start missing your cohort, there is somewhere to come back to and say what has been unfolding since.

THE INVESTMENT

$4,000

Or two payments of $2,000. The second falls thirty days after the first.

THE DATES

Enrollment closes September 10th

We open together October 15th

We close Saturday, March 20th

How you join

You answer a few questions about where you are and what you are ready to live inside of, and you complete your enrollment in the same step. One form, one decision, done.

I read every application. If I have questions or concerns about meeting your needs, I will reach out to schedule a call.

Otherwise, you get a welcome from me, and a practice chosen for what you told me you are standing in, so the work begins before October does.

Answering it is the first small act of the thing this page has been describing. You say what is true, before you are certain, and you trust yourself with what happens next.

Questions.

By Spring.

There is a version of next year where March arrives and the thing you already know is still the thing you already know. You have thought about it beautifully. You have understood yourself with real precision. Nothing in your life has moved.

And there is a version where you look back at October of this year.

Where the conversation happened. Where the thing got started, and then stayed with, and then built. Where the choice you made had five months of company and practice and witnessing around it, and used that time to become the actual shape of your days.

You have crossed things before. You know how to do the hard part.

The question this page has been asking is whether you want to do the next one alone.

Look at the life I grew around that decision.
